Santa Cruz/ Monterey County Resources

  • Encompass Community Support Services- Recovery Services (addiction support), Child and Family Development Services (Early Head Start/ Head Start), Community Support Services (Mental Health/HIV Aids Support) and Youth Services (Counseling) is provided locally in the Santa Cruz County Area.
  • First 5 Santa Cruz invests in Children and Families in our Community. They offer help with low cost health insurance, Triple P Parenting Classes, and resources for Early Childhood Educators.
  • Child Development Resource Center (CDRC)- Need help finding child care? The CDRC maintains a switchboard for families with information about child care throughout the County. CDRC also is a resource for Child Care Providers and Early Childhood Educators.
  • Santa Cruz County Child Care Planning Council-Advocates for high quality, affordable and accessible early care and after school education. 
  • Santa Cruz County Parents Association- Child Care Assistance Program (Vouchers)
